Reiki Healing

What is Reiki Healing?

The word "Reiki" translates to "universal life energy," and the practice involves channeling this energy through the practitioner's hands to the recipient. The goal is to activate the body's natural healing processes and restore physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being by working with the body's aura and chakra system.

How Does Reiki Work?

All living things have a non-visible energy field surrounding the physical body. This energy field is most commonly referred to as an aura. The body's aura is protective energetic layer that is made up of multiple layers of vibrations. Each layer is connected to different energy points in the body. These energy points are what is knows as the body's chakras. When there is a disruption or blockage in the flow of energy in any of the chakra points, it can weaken our aura's ability to protect the physical body allowing for illness, diseases and other physical symptoms to occur. While some conditions require physical medical attention, reiki healing can often provide the right atmosphere in the body for natural healing to occur. A healthy aura prevents external energy from disrupting the physical body. Activities such as yoga, meditation, and receiving reiki healing are some of the best ways to keep the aura healthy. Unfortunately, many people have poor aura health and often have blockages or openings in their aura, which allow external energy to impact the physical body. During a Reiki session, you will lie down comfortably, fully clothed. The practitioner will lightly place their hands near specific energy points on your body, facilitating the flow of healing energy. In some cases the healer may use crystals or sound waves to aid in the process.

Whats Involved In a Full Body Reiki Session?

A full-body Reiki session commences with the practitioner invoking Source energy to flow through their hands. Positioned just above the body, within the aura, the practitioner intuitively scans for areas needing adjustment. This hands-on, non-invasive approach allows them to sense energy imbalances.

Once identified, the healer gently manipulates and moves energy to restore balance. The session often includes clearing out trapped or stagnant energy, replacing it with fresh, cleansing, and healing energy from Source. To enhance the experience, healing crystals may be placed on specific body points, and tones or frequencies may be played.

The entire process is non-invasive and induces a deep state of relaxation. Sessions may elicit emotional releases, such as crying or laughter, as the energy rebalancing takes place. The practitioner accommodates these reactions, recognizing them as a natural part of the healing process.

The session's duration varies based on the individual's physical needs but typically lasts around 45 minutes. Throughout, the focus remains on promoting holistic well-being, encouraging emotional release, and supporting the body's natural ability to heal.

Whats Involved In a Reiki Meditation Session?

A Guided Meditation Reiki session focuses on enhancing overall spiritual health by strengthening the body's energy field. Unlike a full-body Reiki session that primarily addresses physical healing, this type targets emotional and mental issues. You can choose to lay down or sit comfortably, set a specific intention for the session, and enter a meditative state induced by the healer. During this state, the practitioner may place their hands above your aura to promote healing in alignment with your spiritual goals. The session provides a unique blend of guided meditation and Reiki, aiming for holistic well-being and prime spiritual health.

Whats Involved In a Reiki Distance Healing Session?

Reiki distance healing, also known as remote or absent healing, operates on the principle that energy is not bound by physical proximity. Reiki Distance Healing service harnesses the universal life force energy to provide healing regardless of physical location. Through a connection and shared intention between the practitioner and recipient, energy is directed remotely, transcending time and space. Visualization, focused intent, and, at times, the use of Reiki symbols enhance the effectiveness of the distant healing. Recipients may experience subtle shifts, such as warmth or relaxation, during the session. Afterward, feedback and integration support the ongoing benefits. This service underscores the interconnected nature of energy and consciousness, offering a versatile and effective method for promoting well-being on various levels, regardless of the recipient's location.

How Often Should I Get a Reiki Treatment?

Reiki treatments are extremely personal and tailored to your needs. While some may experience the healing they were seeking in just one single treatment, others may need several sessions to experience the full benefits. The frequency of the reiki sessions also depends on your energetic maintenance in your daily life. Individuals who struggle with specific health issues may benefit from a monthly or even weekly session. Those who regularly meditate or practice yoga as a part of their weekly routine may only need a reiki session every three to six months or even just once a year. It really all depends on your own personal spiritual journey.
